'Dog Power' and 'Hill of Sand' lead Oscar nominations for the year
These two films compete for the best picture award in front of the drama:
- (Belfast), which tells the story of a family living amid sectarian conflict in the late 1960s in Northern Ireland.
- (Coda), which takes place among deaf people, and (Don't Look Up), which is a movie dark comedy that deals with the issue of climate change.

film. the Power of the Dog. Campion was nominated for the Best Director Award for
her movie "The Piano" in 1993, but lost that year to Spielberg, who won the award
for (Schindler's List) "Schindler's List".
"The Power of the Dog" was also nominated for an acting Oscar for stars
Benedict Cumberbatch, Jesse Plemons, Cody Smit-McPhee, and Kirsten Dunst.
